I just discovered that my blog now seem like a report of the recent activities. Seem abit weird for myself but still those are memories worth remembering. However after 'reporting' finish all the days of orientation, i tink it will be more normal. Normal = I continuing to type stupid stuff and emo about things....

Breaking News!!!!

Today is suppose the day for orientation day 3. However due to total awesomeness of today day 3 will come some other day. Now here is the breaking news:

Take 5 is today!!! New year, racial harmony, valentine day, .... (sry cant remember) all celebrated in one day!! (Nice la). YEah hh01 really rocks. We are one of the few ogs that sticked together while i see some ppl wondering alone without their og nor their class. (Atleast they hav frens wif them./as for class well after all class only started a few days ago.) As the 'enthu' og we signed up lots of activities. (OMG we actually did that!!!) Due to the starting time of our activities, we met at vivo at 6.45. (Dam early, yet another surprising thing for us: we actually made it). Ok la there are few ppl late but its ok, i forgive them. lol. Alright back to main point, we joined beach soccer, hand ball, water games. Planned to join tug of war and amazing race but couldnt due to the lack of man power and clash of activities.

Now for the report: Soccer:

Started at 7.45. I tink we once again are the only team that signed as an og. The other teams are mostly mix and match. (Ok fine we also got another ppl nt in og but still most are.) We are grp C3 and in C grp obviously. The toughest grp frm all the 4s cos there is a team wif all jc soccer players and 2 j2 team.(One quite pro i heard). So initially we all agreed on just having fun and try not get 0 point. Oh before anything, here is the rule. Its 5 aside, must have a girl on the team. Our girls are Angela (sry for her arm in the first match but her sacrifice is not in vain!!! She had done well!!) and YuHui (the main girl player that play the rest of the matches. Yeah!!). Me as the goalkeeper and the other 3 players are Ziheng, Nguyen and random member frm public (Hiev, 'Foo'). First match against the pro J2 team we won 2-1. That sure boosted our confidence cos now we wont be last!! and we achieved our objective. LOL. Second match against the not so pro J2 team. We won 2-0. By this time we were really shocked. (K not that much la cos got 2 soccer team player (ziheng and Nguyen)). The last match against the J1 soccer team guys is really stressful cos we got the same points. But we have more goals. And in the end, we did well against them and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Much tks to Nguyen for his 2 brilliant saves when i no longer hav the mean to save the ball. (Cos i alr save the first shot and the ball stopped right infront of the line.) On to the semi, the shocking part is here. The semi team is actually a team of 3 girls and 2 boys. (Wow how they did it to make it here?! No one knows...). K at the start cos they are girls we slacked. And as in all moral stories, we got owned bad. As in real bad. The girl actually scored. But thk to that we woke up and start to play properly. In the end we won the game 3-1. FINAL: Against the very pro J2 team from grp B if i am not wrong. Unfortunately we lost 2-1. Haiz my fault.

Due to our unitedness (got such word?) Throughout the whole competition we got supporters exp the part whre the other team hav to go play water games and handball. But we have full supporters in the semi and final.(Yeah HH01 Rocks!!!) Though we didnt win still it was lucky for us to even get into the final in the first place. (so no complains there.Haha). Though I tink i did well and all my frens all tell me that i did amazingly good, (compliments in a long long time. Yeah!!) but still I think I could hav done better and maybe if i did we could hav won. (Y am i thinking this way? No more emoing, my frens say I had done well!!! Haha...Its suppose to be just for fun. K now i feel better. Haha.LOL)

Handball: 5 aside. Cos most of the time i am in the soccer side i didnt see much. But now i knw something,Jonathon our ogl is a dam pro handball goalie. He helped us get a 2-2 draw. And his own team won the tournament. Woot.

Water games: As the name implies its about water games. I didnt get to participate much due to soccer once again. But i did play this 'duck' of war game. where a rubber duck is placed in the water and we hav to splash towards our opponent. After a super long match, (cos the duck keep still at the center when the match suppose to end...) we lost by milimetres. Haiz. Overall we still got 4th out of 8. Great achievements.

Continuing, just before Take 5 officially ended, we dunked Zhengyang into the water,(should have insisted to dunk JiaHui as well. She is the only one not wet or dirty!!! ARHhhh!!). After Take 5 officially ended, we all went to take a shower (cos we all dirty and smelly after the many games!! Must I say how proud I am of my OG again? HH01 Rocks!!! We joined so many activities and we did super well!!! Hooray!!!!!) and headed down to Vivo to catch a movie. Percy and the lightning thief. Went to Carl's Junior for OG lunch. Laughed our heads off there.(dun knw why we all started laughing like mad and just kept on laughing. And ya I had my 3rd OG birthday there.Lol. They love to celebrate my birthday... So now in my OG i am like 22?!) K for the movie we sat in the first row. Me and Angela both totally cant take the big and flashing screen. So we both start to sit on the floor cos its first row and everyone followed suit. The movie, Lightning thief is pretty ok? abit lame but the graphics are good atleast. Oh Alex's "I kill you!!" act. Its seriously epic too bad he wont show the girls. ZZZ. And that would wrap up my amazing day. (Cos we got 2nd!!!!SURPRISE SURPRISE). Shoot just remembered Alex's act again got to laugh somemore....

Chai Hao learnt to ride a bike in hour time under the guidance of Si Xuan. (How she did it?!)

Zhengda went missing... during cycling. (Haiz)

Tried 15 min course on cycling. Result = fail...

Dinner at M'c

Tried to go and play pool but failed ...

Went back to M'c and stone

Played Dare or Dare!!!

Some epic Dares: Asking for 12 cup of plain water. Ordering Zinger meal. (the staff actually went to look for it. M'c staff fail!!!) Weird run ard M'c. ZhengYang wiping the window!!!! (The best)

Overall conclusion: FUN!!! HELL ITS FUN!!! YEAH!!! HH01 ROCKS!!! WOOT!!!

The chronicle of G'alvea (Orientation) part 2

Day 2

Once upon a time, in the land of G'alvea. There lives a group of people who called themselves the Golddiggers......

Just like on day 1, we gathered at mph. And just like on day 1, we took attendance, similar as to day 1, we stoned... (LOL Boring intro). Alright time for something exciting - batch dance and song. After search almost everywhere on youtube, i have concluded that our batch dance is the best as compared to year 2009 and 2008 batch dances. Yeah!!! The music is great and the moves are just awesome. (The important part is that the moves are totally learnable. Haha) Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKKS-v6L0dA . As for my dance partner the name is Rachel, (I just found out that she have this English name. And with the same name as certain someone who is the dance partner of a close fren of mine in another JC -.-)(Its a small world .... pure coincidence)Ok further info on this Rachel (GPA 3.96 Imba... Thinks that Mrt has a bell. Epic fail.)Moving on to the dance part, we learnt the first part of the moves on the song Are You Gonna Be My Girl. (The hardest to learn out of the 4 part dance.) Still its really fun while laughing and enjoying ourselves as we learn the dance moves. After the batch dance, we went back to the mph to learn the batch song. The song is really nice and catchy. As always being a lucky guy, the song is better than the previous batch song. (No offence to batch of 2009). After learning a few cheers (my throat ... arhhh), then came the ever EPIC STORYLINE. Previously On StoryyyyLine .... ('OMG' MAN!!!!)Moving on from the ever EPIC STORYLINE, comes Mission EA. Its basically amazing race with various road blocks around orchard areas. Once again my OG took our own sweet time.(Really love this part of my OG). We practically strolled around orchard area while the other grps were all rushing. We even took a long hour to enjoy our lunch while the other grps were having their lunch on the go. Something interesting during the EA, if I am not wrong that is when i came up with EEEPIC. With the E sound. And obviously due to our 'take our time and enjoy the scenery attitude' we did not manage to complete all 5 stations. But we still did manage 4 and have lots of time left, compared to those who rushed and still only did 4 road blocks, i tink we did great. WOOT!! After a long day ard orchard we went back to sch and wrapped up orientation day 2 with the EVER EPIC STORYLINE. (Its really dam EEEEPIC). OG dinner? At Bishan Junction 8 food court. OG dinner activity? Talking and stoneing. (Stoneing is part of my og's culture. Despite the 'stoneing session' somehow we are dam close. Always hanging out together. YEah really love my OG. HH01!!!!)

Diary of Jane (Orientation) Part 1

The reason why i name the post diary of jane is because:

1. I like the song
2. The info is all gathered frm a person in my OG called Jane. (She remembers all the details!!!!!!)

Day 1

It took me ard 6 mins to finally find my OG in the mph. The first day my og had icebreakers. We all sat in a circle doing some self intro and trying to remember the others' names. There were 19 ppl and 3 OGLs, Jon, Sixuan and Kieran. The first impression of my og? We are all very stone. Its not that we are unfriendly, its more like we were all in our own world... After some icebreaker games, we went back to mph and watched the STORY LINE. (EEEPIC!!! OMG MAN U ROCK!!!). Totally love the plot and the songs in the story line. The whole thing was just so well planned out k except for the mike failing problem. -.- After our very first taste of the epic story line, we in an OG have to compete against other ogs in station games. There was this powder chair game where we have to rush across a row of chairs with some scissor paper stone skill involved. This would be one of the most violent games...... There was a human table soccer game, a balloon touch rugby game, blow the pingpong ball game and this dark room where we have to search for our ogls' photos. I would say that day the station games saved me. At first my og mates were all just stoneing and not doing anything. But after the station games, i can finally see a glimmer of hope that we will get along just fine. YEah!! But a leopard nver changes its spot, when my ogl was asking us wat we want to do for OG dinner that day, Stone..... stone.... stone.... Silence........ Finally after like forever, we decided to head for Thomson Plaza for kfc but somehow ended in pizza hut. Lol.
Due to the lack of seats we separated into 2 tables. The girls one side and the other with all the boys and 3 girls. (typical for first og outing, or any outing the first time. LOL). Alright back to pizza hut, we were told to wait 1 hr for our 3 pizzas, FAIL PIZZA HUT.(No offence)Ok la in the end it only took 20 min or less for the pizzas to arrive. Lol. Again pizza hut fail... Ok back again. While waiting for the 'one long hour' to end we started to play this finger game where ppl have to raise their thumbs and call a number. With the right number of thumbs up, then u win. Wah so fun!! -_- The funny part is that with 22 fingers altogether, some how calling 1 finger give u a much higher percentage of winning. On the other table with the girls, most had bake rice instead of pizza. The ogls and Chai Hao came later and joined that table. We wrapped up the day with a photo infront of Thomson Plazza, and most took bus back to Bishan.
